THE CHALLENGE

Healthcare providers need a rapid, point-of-care method to assess peripheral tissue oxygenation.

Currently, there are no efficient tools that can rapidly spot assess oxygenation (hypoxia) of tissue microvasculature. Exisiting clinical modalities that assess oxygenation are expensive, inacessible or have long scan times making them ineffective for high volume clinics.

THE SOLUTION

PA Probe

Utilizes photoacoustic technology to measure microvascular oxygenation using point-of-care ultrasound hardware, enabling rapid, real-time measurements of tissue oxygenation.

PA probe is currently in the research and development phase and not available for sale in any country.

Our Benefits

Accessibility Icon

Making critical information accessible

The PA probe provides real-time spot-assessments of tissue oxygenation providing actionable insights on peripheral tissue health.

Efficiency Icon

Meet patient throughput demands

The PA probes can allow physicians to meet their patient throughput demands while ensuring effective care is provided to all.

Claims Icon

Effective claims for adjuntive therapies

Spot-assessments of oxygenation using the PA probe can provide evidence for effective insurance justification of expensive adjunctive therapies.
